Dark Link
Health:
1500 Strength: 15 Drops: Master Blade (20%) Skull Hammer (20%) 1-7 Bombs (20%) 1-7 Arrows (40%) 1-7 Hearts (40%) Location: Water Temple |
Strategy:
Dark Link is mostly a physical attacker, although he occasionally shoots arrows at you.
He has high knockback resistance, so a weapon with at least 15+ damage and the Knockback enchantment is highly recommended. If you're low on health just use Red Potions (assuming you have the Four Sword) or cut the grass on the floor of the room for Hearts.
You could use Bombs to knock him back, but that would flood the area, making it difficult to move around.

Gohma
Health:
2000 Strength: 15-30 Drops: Master Insignia (20%) 1-7 Hellstone Ingots (20%) 1-7 Bombs (20%) 1-7 Hearts (40%) Location: N/A. Summoned with Din's Pearl |
Strategy:
If you're not well-prepared Gohma is the hardest boss.
It has increased knockback resistance and occasionally shoots fireballs or burns you on contact.
At least Unobtainium Armour is recommended. Using a sword to fight isn't wise since its big claws let it hit you from a distance.
If you have the recommended Unobtainium Armour, then crafting a Compound Bow and Powered Arrows shouldn't be a problem for you. Its high power makes it very useful for this fight.
If you don't have a Compound Bow, energy guns like the Arm Cannon and Pulse Rifle are more powerful but shoot slower.
Remember how you killed it in Wind Waker? Same thing works here. Its eye is its weak point. Keep shooting its eye and avoid any exploding fire balls and it should eventually go down.

Twilight Dragon: Argorok
Health:
2000 Strength: 10 Drops: Dragon Egg (20%) Master Hilt (20%) 1-7 Hearts (40%) Location: Spawns rarely in The End while killing Unown. |
Strategy:
This fight is almost the same as the Ender Dragon, but with a few differences.
For starters, it has quadruple the health. You definitely want to invest in a Compound Bow. The velocity of its Powered Arrows will save a lot of time. Energy guns like the Arm Cannon and Pulse Rifle are bad in this fight because Argorok moves faster than you can shoot. It's also 1/3 the size of the Ender Dragon, so using energy guns will make you miss and use up all your ammo.
It can also trick you by flying backwards or dive-bomb from above.
When it gets low on health, you definitely want to get the finishing blow with a sword, since unlike the Ender Dragon, it drops the Dragon Egg, Master Hilt and lots of xp wherever it's killed.
*Can break blocks like the Ender Dragon, so make sure it doesn't go through your End Portal.

Phantom Ganon
Health:
1000 Strength: 15 Drops: Ganon's Sword (50%) Silver Rupee (50%) Location: Can randomly spawn anywhere. Strategy:
N/A. Not much of a "boss." The only thing that categorises it as such is its large amount of health. Doesn't do anything special except appear randomly and attack you like other mobs. There can be multiple in the world at the same time. |
Stratgey:
This boss has two forms, Gannondorf and Beast Gannon. I'll refer to this boss simply as Ganon. Gannondorf hits hard and resists knockback and since where you battle him is at the top of a tower, I suggest not jumping at all when you're close to the edge. He mostly has normal physical attacks, but very rarely he can turn into Beast Ganon (right). Beast Gannon is faster than Gannondorf but its other stats are the same and also has a low chance to spawn atop Ganon's Tower instead of Gannondorf. Killing Beast Ganon will NOT complete the Master Quest, nor will it give you the achievement. |
There are small pots scattered around the tower that drop Hearts when broken, which can restore health when used in battle.
The Twilight Bricks that the tower is made of are highly explosion-resistant, so it's safe to use Bombs to to knock Ganon back. In that case you might also want Blast Protection enchanted armour so you don't hurt yourself when using bombs. However, do keep in mind that the pots will still break from explosions and the hearts they drop may disappear.
Using the Master Sword against Ganon has an increased critical hit rate and critical hit damage, so as it also has a massive 25 base attack damage for a total of 25-40 damage with criticals, you're going to want to use that against this boss.
The Fairy Slingshot can also be used to slow down Ganon long enough to use Hearts or Potions to restore some health or hunger. If you're wealthy, the Hylian Armour can make this fight a lot easier.
Usurper King: ZantHealth:
3000 Strength: 21-25 Drops: Zant's Sword (100%) Silver Rupee (100%) Location: Twilight Gate |
Strategy:
Zant can be difficult to find. Unlike Phantom Gannon, his random spawning is confined to the area around Twilight Gates. There's an increased chance of finding him if you've beaten Beast Gannon but NOT Gannondorf yet.
Offensively, Zant is just like Gannondorf.
He has less HP and slightly lower attack damage.
He has normal knockback resistance, but is very fast so he will often counter your attacks.
You might want a 20-damage+ weapon obviously, and Feather Falling enchanted boots or the Megaton Boots for this fight, as Zant's attacks can easily launch you backwards. Other than that, it's a pretty straight-forward fight.
